Today is the last day of March. A month of variable weather. There are blossoms on the trees down the street from where I live that had snow and hail on their branches. I never know which jacket to put on when I take my dog out in the mornings. We celebrated Easter and Peggy's birthday on the same day. Sue put on a lovely dinner for us and we had a birthday cake from Dairy Queen for "Meg Henry." Peggy chose this name for her freelance artistic work (it's a combination of my maiden name and a variation of her first name.)
Lucas paid a quick visit to the west coast last week. He has almost finished his Doctorate Of Ministry. A couple of times a year, Lucas travels to the coast for doctorate work at Trinity Western University. The family will come out for his graduation on the 19th of April. A proud day for all of us.
Hard to believe that my great grandson, Ethan, is a one-year-old already. Where does the time go?
Another week and it will be three years since Gordie died. Whenever I bake cookies I expect him to come in from Tim Horton's saying, "It sure smells good in here, Mrs. Grant."
