French Toast

I made french toast for dinner tonight. It was a good way to use up some day-old french bread. I "googled" the Internet for a french toast recipe and was quite taken with the following:


6 thick slices of bread
2 eggs
2/3 cup of milk
1/4 teaspon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspons vanilla extract
